My dear parishioners and visitors:
Last Sunday, June 19th, we came together to celebrate our 60th Anniversary. It was a solemn and joyful mass and happy pot-luck lunch with your favorite food and delicious roast pig. Again I thank you for your faith commitment and your love for God and for our parish family.
This Monday, June 27th, Concord Restorations will come to work in the rectory.
I will be away from June 26th (afternoon) until July 6th(evening) for a three day meeting in Queen of the Apostles Renewal Centre in Mississauga, and a one week holiday.
Father Samuel Garcia will come to say the weekend mass July 2nd and 3rd. There will be no daily mass because he cannot stay in the rectory.
The parish office is open as usual from Monday to Friday, 9 AM—3 PM.
It is now summertime, but we are still waiting for more sun! I wish you all a good safe and well-rested summer. Wherever you are please make an effort to attend Sunday mass, and always be a committed faithful follower of Christ. Jesus is teaching us in today’s gospel reading: “No one who puts a hand to the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Lk 9:62)
Father Peter H. Nguyen
