My dear parishioners and visitors to St. Ann’s Quesnel.
We now have a parish-website! Our parish new website, www.stannsquesnel.org, is truly a “labour of love” of Vince Parrott. On your behalf I would like to say Thank You to Vince Parrott for his generous work in designing and creating an amazing website for us; also to invite all of you, parishioners and visitors, going to our parish-website for information and for inspiration: For example the schedule for all the ministries in the parish or the different events taken place in our parish and in our diocese.
This Sunday, Nov. 9th, is the anniversary of the dedication of the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of the Holy Father, in Rome, by Pope Sylvester I in 324. This Church is called St. John Lateran because it was built on the property owned by the Laterani Family and given to the Church.
Today’s celebration is not only about the physical church, St. John Lateran Basilica, but more important is about you and me, the living member of the Church, the living and holy temple of God: “you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you” (1 Cor. 3: 16). May we always keep our heart, our mind, our soul and body good, clean and holy.
