October 25 & 26

Hoping that all of you are enjoying a good season of Autumn. It is beautiful Fall!

The gospel reading for this Sunday is about loving God and others. St. Augustine answered the question of “ how does love looks like?” is that “Love has hands to help others; it has feet to hasten to the poor and needy; it has eyes to see misery and want; it has ears to hear the sights and sorrows of others. That is love looks like”.

The Quesnel Paving and Erikkson Earthworks just inform me that they will not be able to repair our parking lot this Fall, because there is not enough times for them. However they have our parking-lot-project at the top of their working-list in the early Summer 2015. Audrey has sent them an a-mail asking them to honor the contract and to work on this project in the early Summer of 2015.
We now have times to raise the money for this project through Faith in Action.

If you have not given to F.I.A., please do so as soon as possible. If you have already given, please consider making another contribution as since we have reached our Diocesan goal, all monies now received will come directly back to the parish.

Have a blessed week.

Fr. Peter Hoan Nguyen, your pastor.

“The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the samepeople.” ― G.K. Chesterton
